MORE ABOUT ME:

SUPREME LIVIN:
(Encouragement for jerks everywhere to create their own publications)

Sit down with a fantastic beverage.  Get your instrumentation in order.  Maybe put some righteous jams on.  Maybe go outside.  Maybe go inside.  Smokes a pipe.  Bring your leisure wares.  Get very prepared and then… draw some shit.
Don’t know what to put on that piece of paper, well write down why you don’t know.
Can’t think of anything to draw, well fuck you Matisse.  Put some kind of stain on that paper.  What are scared of running out of paper?
Be a scientist.  Do this  experiment: make something. Next show it to some poor assholes.  It’s the study of how the action of you dragging your silly pen across a piece of paper echoes through out time and brains.
If someone says what you made was stupid they’re probably right, it’s just a mark on a piece of paper.  Even if you spent 147 years perfecting you rendering skills it’s still just ink on dead trees.  But remember that that someone is probably even more stupid and in need of a life and a spanking.
So scribble on.  You are the Supreme Publisher.

EQUIPMENT:

Here’s some stuff I like to use on the Publication

pens, ink and brushes

Some India ink, shown here stored in a empty film canister which is a pretty crappy way of storing it.
A few pens with interchangeable tips (crusted and failing apart from not washing and drying after use) plus a bamboo pen.
Brushes and a tooth brush for splattering.

paper chinamarker

Standard CrapO  multipurpose printer paper.  20lb, 8 ½” x 11”, 500 sheets for $3, folded then ripped in half.    Chinamarkers are f’n rad.

mechanical pencils

These mechanical pencils are usually too precise to use on the Supreme Publication.  Plus they always tempt you to erase if you make a “mistake”. I thought I’d put them here just because I think they’re cool.  I probably use the green Pentel a bit more.  I have it loaded with HB lead and use it for things like making notes on legal pads.  I have the Draft/matic loading with a softer lead that I use for drawling every once and while.  The metal grip on it bugs me a little.

Of course if you’re making your own publication use whatever the hell you want.  I just wanted to show you the stuff I’m using right now.
